Women Leadership Programme
Women Leadership Mentorship Programme – African Union Sport Council Region 5
The project develops young women to become leaders in sport through a mentorship programme. The aim is that those women can then in turn train other females within their country to be representatives and ambassadors within the Sports Movement. The goal of this phase is to: build awareness on gender equality in sports, increase female participation in sports; increase awareness on the use of sports as a tool for social inclusion, community building and civic engagement.

MTG Football Campaign – Organisation Moving to the Goalposts
Moving the Goalposts teaches girls and young women to take up their space in football by enabling them to discover and nurture their football skills. The project uses football as a tool to initiate change in areas of peace, governance, sustainability, women’s rights and empowerment. The programme trains girls and young women on topics such as coaching, refereeing and First Aid at various levels, as well as providing life skills on nutrition, sanitation, hygiene and leadership.
