Encouraging by focusing on a fulfilling and healthier everyday life
The pandemic we are facing has been a wake up call for alot of people globally as people have been grounded and failed to live normal lives. We think that extreme conditions of the lockdown made us realise the importance of moving around. We need to make sure to find alternative ways to stay healthy and active. There are a lot of positive impacts of having an active lifestyle, but it has become even more noticible that physical activity improves mental health. We think that positive reinforcement on this topic is an advantage.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
We want to help people to find their own, favorite and best version of healthy. We aim to answer the question about »How to enjoy the freedom of expressing ourselves through finding the freedom of movement?« We want to spread the word about benefits of an active lifestyle by using the advantages of social media.
We have 18 young women from Slovenia and Zimbabwe participating in our project. We sent out a survey to meet our participants. Our next step is to prepare two questionnaires. One covers the topic of Health & Wellbeing & Education, the other one explores the experience of COVID-19 lockdown. When we’ll get the results, we want to enable intercultural exchange of personal experiences on the topic of the project via zoom calls. To make sure the project will benefit a larger group, including other generations, we will create a platform, where we and our participants will be sharing written information.
