“My name is Maja Pajek, I work at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of sport. My current position at the faculty is vice dean in charge of science and research. I am professor and lecturer on various subject at the Faculty of Sport, such as artistic gymnastics, the basics of movement and Pilates. I am a mentor for many doctoral and post-graduate students at the Faculty of sport. I also work very closely with Olympic Committee – Association of sport federation of Slovenia and the Slovenian sport as an expert in the field of sports for all and physical activity. I hold various positions in both organizations, and all of them are connected with the leadership. I would describe myself as tireless advocate of a healthy lifestyle (physical, mental, and intellectual).  Sport represents important part of my life, as former athlete, coach, and instructor. I also chose my professional career in the field of sports. I have more than 25 years of working experience as lecturer, mentor and sports expert on different levels including management and leadership. I am very happy to have the opportunity to pass on my experience as a mentor to our mentees and empower young women to become successful leaders of tomorrow.”
