On Wednesday 25th March TAFISA hosted the first ever session of the FLOT Certified Leadership Course (CLC)! Lasting 10 weeks, the CLC will give an opportunity for the mentees to strengthen their understanding of key components involved in the SFA movement. Sessions will be led by a range of professionals within the sector, coming from a variety of backgrounds to present their expertise on specific topic areas.
The first session focused on the Global Philosophy of the Sport for All (SFA) movement. This session was extra special as the CLC was joined by our TAFISA president Prof. Dr. Ju-Ho Chang – one of the world leaders in the Global SFA Movement! He was kind enough to offer the CLC some of his time to officially launch the programme with a small opening ceremony and led the session on the philosophy behind SFA. The second session immediately followed and focused on Programme, Target Groups and Events Management in SFA. Lead by TAFISA staff members, the content looked to cover the key elements of these areas, and how they impact a SFA organisation.
Stay tuned for new CLC updates!
